SAT
Well, I've recovered enough from the SAT yesterday morning to talk about it.
It is pure EVIL!
Okay, to begin with, it takes forever and by the time you get to the tenth section (the last one), you just don't care anymore. They don't give you nearly enough time on any of the parts. And banging out an essay in 25 minutes is fun, let me tell you. Of course, that's the first part. At like 8 AM. Yes, because all of us are great at thinking early in the morning. But the questions are inane, the vocabulary is gobbledygook, and the math questions are obscure. They all suck.
That being said, I think I did passably well. Nothing spectacular, but I can try again in November. Yay me.
Now I get to try and finish a Government paper. Must... make... four... pages...

Glad to hear you survived the SAT's. I was thinking about you yesterday. Glad you posted. On to the next problem, where to apply to college. So what are the choices so far? Your dad said you have about 5 schools you're interested in. Send me the list. I am so disappointed we won't see you at Thanksgiving. We'll just sit here alone in the dark and eat turkey TV dinners. :(
Yeah, right. I've invited a few friends who like my hospitality and cooking. I'm sure we'll have a good time.
